Mumbai Railways
Scrambling through the pages I found this beautifully documented movie on Mumbai railways which boasts to be the busiest railways system in the world. Around 1500 trains ply in the route daily and it caters to over 2.5 billion travelers annually. During the peak hours a single train with 12 coaches carry almost 5000 passengers(density of 16 persons/square meter!).

He was the human version of Garfield the cat, my room mate was easily the laziest person I've met. Nevertheless, he was a kind ,caring character and we really enjoyed the two years we spend together in Mumbai. Every weekend we used to explore the city on his Avenger and there's hardly any place left in Mumbai where we've not gone together. Some of the most memorable trips together being the visit to Malabar Hills and the long walk back to Churchgate, the journey on Padmini Premier to Baucha Dhakka, the awesome bike ride @ midnight to Marine Drive, the drive to Aksa Beach and many more. We've even had our share of accident together as well. Ganesh Palace was his second home and he was always fascinated about going to Leopold Cafe.Just the way we came together, we had plans to leave Mumbai as well, but fortunately or unfortunately that didn't happen. He got transfer to Meerut Circle. Best wishes to him, its been a pleasant journey with you mate..

The Wettest June day in the last 10 years.. The trains were shut, the roads were water logged and houses were flooded. It was there I found my adventure trail- to face the situation hands on. Luckily I had the comfort of a car and my office staff with me, but looking back at the whole incident, I feel it was a day never to be forgotten.
We finally reached 1:30 hours late at office only to find that we were the only people to come from the Suburbs.
